    Welcome to Mind & Body Matters

  In a world that is so busy and frenetic because of the demands that we place on ourselves, it is essential that we reach a balance.

Health and fitness isn't just about diet and exercise...over many years of working within this industry I have discovered for myself how the mind can be more than 90% of the solution. Being healthy and being fit in this day and age takes a tremendous effort and sometimes our desire to be healthy doesn't match up in our minds to the reality....it could be our belief system about how we look and what we can do are a little out of sync with the rest of our bodies. It could even be that our subconscious mind is pushing to the fore a few doubts about our ability to achieve anything tangible.

So whilst my main function is in the practical development of simple achievable goals through a healthier body, I do also work with you, if you want, on creating a different mindset about what you really desire from life, what you want to look like and achieve through diet and exercise.

Let's be honest, we all want to look better, feel fitter and ultimately live a long and productive life. There are always going to be those lucky few simply blessed with good genetics...but if you are like me, you'll have to work at it and make the development of a healthy exercise system a way of life. Sounds onerous....well the good news is that I will develop with you on a one to one or group basis a way of making exercise, diet and the thought process that changes your outlook about these activities one of the most enjoyable parts of your life.

So whether you want a life change, get rid of a few extra kilos, get fit for a challenge or simply feel better about yourself
